Hey! I'm looking to upgrading my PC which I built in 2012/2013 and I was hoping for some of your expert help and advice. As you can see, the current spec isn't that bad at all and I recently upgraded the GPU.

I'll appreciate all help and assistance with this matter, thanks in advance.

Intel Core i7-3820 3.6GHz (Sandybridge-E) LGA2011 CPU.

MSi X79A-GD65 [8D] Intel X79 (Socket LGA2011) Mainboard.

MSi GTX1080 Founders Edition GPU.

Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750M High Performance 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular PSU.

Kingston HyperX Genesis (8x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz (Quad Channel).

2x Crucial RealSSD M4 256GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbs Solid State Hard Drive (RAID0).

2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache (RAID0).

Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case (Black).

In my personal opinion this would be a great upgrade route.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £687.46
(includes shipping: £10.50)

But another question, what cpu cooler are you using? as you may need to buy a new one, or if you have a decent one it's possible an AM4 bracket has been released for it. In some cases the manufacturers will just send you these for free, and in some cases they will charge you a few pounds.

Just a quick note on the ssd too, i know you have some sata drives in raid 0, would un raid them and use them seperately as some form of storage? games drive/recording drive for example. And use an NVME as a boot drive as it's it's certainly faster than raid 0 sata drives. Though the real world benchmark of this may not be " entirely noticeable " it's certainly more practical.
