Make sure you update the bios before putting the Ryzen 3600 in. You need at least version 4801.

You may have to update chipset drivers first also.

ASUS strongly recommends that you update AMD chipset driver 18.50.16 or later before updating BIOS.

The VS350 power supply will have it.

Sorry to be a dunce but is there a lead for this already in the pc are you saying or do I need to get one ??

The first. You need to open the case (both side panels if need be) and fish out the PCIe 6+2 pin lead coming from the PSU, which will be tucked somewhere.
