upgrade advice

Hi all

Its been a while since I built a new system or splashed for an upgrade and I feel now is the time to consider some capex.

Current system:
Gigabyte DS3 775
E6300
4 Gig of DDR 2 G.Skill DDR2 PK PC2-6400C4 (4x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit
8800 GTS 320MB
Enermax noisetaker 535W

Obviously way out of date now but I dont need a monster. Just somthing that will be nice and stable and run BF Bad Company 2 well.

Budget is flexible. For an upgrade (new GFX/processor?) around £250. For the full works minus case and storage around £450.

Any help appreciated.

I'm assuming you have a DVD drive here. Also add 25 quid for an A50 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-CS and Overclock that 2500k!

Edit: Ahhh wrong motherboard! The MSI GD53 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-170-MS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1906 is a good board.

^^ thats about £200 over budget when the motherboard is swapped and the cooler added, even with the free shipping the OP can get by linking his forum account to his shop account

@the OP: what case do you have currently?

a full system will probably be the best given what you currently have and what your budgets are.

i also have no idea how good/bad your PSU is, so i specced you another one just in case. hopefully someone can say if it should be kept or not
