It's been around a while. My AM3 mobo supports it as i have a 4250 IGP integrated into the mobo rather than it being on the CPU. An IGP or APU is adequate for day to day stuff, if you want to game buy a half decent gaming GPU £100 upwards or dont bother in my eyes.

Some mobos don't support nvidia as dual cards i.e Xfire only, maybe this is what caused the confusion. This A55 mobo only has 1 PCI-EX slot anyway. Although there is now a software workaround called hypersli so you can run SLI on Xfire only mobos ;)

That's reminded me. It's the 6670 you can hybrid xfire with, it was rumoured the new xbox would use this GPU custom made for the console. So i assumed it would also use a llano CPU and hybrid xfire but we dont know for sure yet.

Drivers are OS dependant on PC nevermind on a different platform. I just prefer nvidia drivers, i also miss the mouse gestures for those of you that can remember them :(

P.S I know i sound like an nvidia fan boy but at current prices i would look at (in ascending order of price) the 460SC/6950/7850 then we are talking well over £200 for a GPU after that.

yeah i vaguely remember them when i used my 8500gt.

nvidia drivers are better than ati in my experiance.

That'll do pig...that'll do :)

might be worth a call to check with them what you get in the box before you order. It should have a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter with it. If the TV is in the same room you can also dual screen from the single GPU if you want that monitor ;)

yeah definetly phone them before buying b grade, baught a motherboard that comes with a pcie sound card. didnt have one in it. had to go without sound for a week till i found one off the bay.
