Hi all,

My current gaming PC is about 5 years old and I'm looking for some advice on possible "low cost" upgrades, I use it mostly for WoW and a bit COD Warzone.

Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 High Airflow PC Case
Asus TUF Z97 Gryphon Armor Edition Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
Corsair Hydro H105 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
16GB HyperX DDR RAM
KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 OC Silent "Infinity Black Edition" 4096MB
DELL U2410 Monitor (Native 1920x1200 60Hz)
650W Gold PSU, can't remember brand exactly but can whip it to bits to find out if needed.
I have two SSD's and a Spinny Data Disk

I would like to keep the case, if the cooler is usable on new a new mobo, great.

I think for cost purposes I might need to do it in phases. Is it possible for example to go:

Mobo / Chip / RAM
then later
Graphics Card / Monitor.

Recommendations appreciated

Thanks in advance guys, appreciate it.

It's possible to do it that way, but upgrading the cpu/ram/mobo with something like a 3600/b450/ 16GB 3200 wouldn't really improve your performance with that 970 very much at all, it might just raise the 1% and 0.1% low figures.

You'd need to state a budget, and what you hope to achieve with the final system.
