Bought Win 8 when it was £20 for the upgrade and all was well until I started having issues with it playing FSX.
Then had to reformat so went and stuck with W7 as was having no issues. Since then FSX has decided it want to no longer work so has been un-installed and now gone the way of Prepar3d.
Am pondering now whether to put W8 and then subsequently 8.1 back on as tbh quite liked the W8 experience and it was only the FSX thing that was stopping me.
Is it worthwhile?
One bonus is that it wll allow me to access the other 16 GB of memory I have in there that W7 seems to think I do not need ( I know it's excessive but thre was a great deal on 16 GB kits on a one day offer so had to get it)
