Hi all

Finally putting together a major upgrade from my current (prehistoric) build. Hoping for any recommendations and compatibility info that might come to mind.

Planning to use my existing GPU for now (a lil' 650ti) and existing power supply (non-modular BeQuiet 500W). But might consider adding a new PSU to this if anyone recommends a good modular & v. quiet model.

Will be used for general stuff, movies, Photoshop, gaming/modding. Want it as stable, cool and quiet as I can get it. No plans to overclock this build.

Case: Silverstone Tj08-E http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-077-SV
Board: Asus H97M-E http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-620-AS
CPU: Intel i5-4460 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-535-IN
Cooler: ???
Memory: Elite Black 16GB http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-034-TG (or 8GB?)
Drive 1: Crucial MX100 128GB http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-035-CR
Drive 2: Crucial MX100 256GB http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-036-CR

For the CPU cooler, I'm looking at the BeQuiet Shadow Rock Slim (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-009-BQ), but unsure if that's a good fit for this build & the TJ08-E?
Slightly worried about some negative reports about the TJ08's build quality and noise levels, but many others say it's a great case? I also looked at the Aerocool Dead Silence and similar micro-ATX cases...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/reassurances. :)

The Silverstone Tj08-E has a max cpu cooler height of 165mm
Seems the Shadow Rock Slim has a height of 161mm. I'll check the heights of some others too, thanks.

May be worth just getting two of the 128GB ssds and raid 0 unless you need the space?
I'm planning on not running any HDDs (except as external for backups), and I like having the OS on its own drive, so I figured I could use the space on the apps/games drive. I'm new to SSDs though and not sure what the safest/fastest setup would be.
