Thanks for comments everyone,

Decided to invest in glass for the time being.

Going to start with the 85mm 1.8 Just got to find a decent price :)

Good man. There's nothing more tragic than an awesome camera trying to resolve a beautifully framed shot through rubbish glass.

I've still got my 20D having bought the 30mm Siggy and 135L. Next on the list is either a longer prime (300L) or shorter wide angle (24L)... And then I'll buy a nice body to sit behind it all.

a lot of L's their :D

Where are good websites to but lens from? atm £280/£320 + seems to be the norm

& seems looking at FlickR the 85mm seems just as versatile as the 50mm :)

Doh Jessops do it over finance too! £320 for the lens mind.

I'm also at the stage where I'd like to upgrade my lenses.

As with most Canon amateurs I have the 50mm 1.8, Sigma 18-200mm and the Sigma 70-300mm.

What I would like to see though, is the same photo taken, but with different lenses, just so I can clearly see what the difference is. I ask this as the photos I produce with the lenses I have look alright (bar the 18-200mm - At 200mm it's terrible).

Obviously I've got nothing to compare this against though. Does anyone have any examples?

a tad more expensive via Jessops but went 5months interest free

So new 85mm 1.8 coming to me tomorrow! :D
