Hi peeps, just after a bit of advice.

Been having crashes (BSOD's, ~nvkldm error within 30s of loading games) and the other week my PC decided not to POST. I left it over night and it seemed happy enough after that but the other day it did it again, and has refused to POST since. I gather this is usually down to CPU/RAM/Mobo or PSU. I don't have spares to trial & error it and as I'm running an e6600 with 2gb ram, I figure it gives me a good enough excuse to upgrade.

I was looking at some of the pre-clocked i7 bundles (I can probably *just* stretch that) but apparently my case isn't big enough to accomodate the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 or Prolimatech Megahalems CPU coolers. The case is an Akasa Eclipse 62 (which is pretty wide as far as midi's go I thought?) and I'm pretty sure I already have a Scythe Ninja in there already. However, I obviously want to make sure I can actually fit whatever it is I get in there before I buy.

Can't really afford to shell out for a new case as well as a new bundle. I'm not fussed about top of the range kit (again $$), but I've got a 9800 GX2 in there with a 24" monitor so it'd be nice to be able to run games at high res on the occassions I do play them.

Would any of you guys have suggestions as to what I should be looking to get and/or can anyone 100% confirm or deny that the Eclipse 62 can't handle those coolers? (I checked the reviews and apparently the Antec 900 can, which I believe is thinner than the Eclipse?).

Thanks in advance.

Nope, don't need one of those coolers, just the bundles would have been convieniant (and presumably cheaper than grabbing the bits individually). I guess my high end budget is around the £500-600 mark.

I could squeeze a case in it (been eyeing up some of the new Lian Li offerings as I loved my old one) but it just seems 'wasted money' to some extent as that's ~£100 that I could have spent on direct hardware/components.

TBH something like this a fair bit cheaper and will do the same job.!

Then you have the spare cash to get yourself the case that you like if you want. Everyones taste in cases is different so no point in me posting one :p
