Upgrade Consideration

So the last time I built a PC was like 7 years ago. Over time I've upgraded a couple of things like added extra RAM and upgraded my GPU but even that upgrade is outdated.

My current setup contains an i7 2600k and GTX 750Ti. I've already got an SSD for the OS and another to store the games I play. I bought a new case within the last year or so too so that part is fine.

Due to my budget I'll be upgrading the GPU at a later date, probably a few months after the new year and I believe I can use my current power supply so I figure upgrading the GPU later on as well as the RAM, although if I can I'll try and squeeze in being able to go for the upgrade to 16GB within the bundle itself right off the bat.

My budget is £500 as things stand right now so I had a look and think this seems like a decent option. I believe I read that the board can support 9th gen Intel processors after a BIOS update so I can upgrade the CPU down the line if needs be as well.

If anyone has any thoughts or other suggestions they would certainly be welcome!
 
What PSU do you have currently? and what are you using the system for? if you are gaming honestly will get more for your money from a GPU upgrade right now.

It runs Discord, my Plex server and I game on it. The most up to date game I've run on it recently though is like Diablo 3 & Overwatch. I've a 2 monitor setup (both are 24" 1080p monitors) and a lot of times if I try and run video on monitor 2 at the same time as a game the video is very choppy. I did recently switch in a friend's GTX 1060 to see if some extra graphical power would solve that but it did not appear to accomplish it, so I figure my processing power etc. isn't up to scratch to do that stuff anymore.

Oh and the PSU is a Corsair TX750

It's quite easy and you will find a lot of help in these here forums hence the name " overclockers " :D

you can get a really nice performance boost out of it.
