Upgrade existing build.

Hey guys.
I bought a re existing PC looking at upgrading it but I dont exactly know what is best for a budget gaming PC. Naturally my computer tech friends tell me to get the most expensive parts etc because they're mega gamers where as I maybe the intermediate gamer. It is also quite loud when running also Here are the details,

I tried that, that's how it came through. I'm not great with this stuff.

The PC itself was pre built, but I'd like to upgrade it, I have been told a new graphics card, power supply
 
Damn hey. At the moment I use it virtually to stream movies. Its hooked up to my 38" TV.
I use my laptop to play games at the moment.
The buffer rate was pretty laggy when watching movie streams
