Wouldn't take much cash for a new system that is a lot better at gaming for yourself .
Just need to set yourself a strict budget and that helps users on here to list you parts.
Also would your self build or have built ?

I tried that, that's how it came through. I'm not great with this stuff.

The PC itself was pre built, but I'd like to upgrade it, I have been told a new graphics card, power supply

What's games do you play and I'm guessing your monitor is 1080p 60hz ?

Think you'd need the whole thing personally, you've got a slow old CPU, even though it's an i7, it's a mobile version .

Damn hey. At the moment I use it virtually to stream movies. Its hooked up to my 38" TV.
I use my laptop to play games at the moment.
The buffer rate was pretty laggy when watching movie streams

what sort of system was that aimed at? obviously not gaming with a gt 210 lol and im going to assume this is another one of those systems that has like a mobile processor fitted as google search takes your i7 to the mobile reviews? suppose with it being a 4c8t chip it might still do depending what you going to play?

to upgrade that computer assuming its an atx tower and not confused with SFF models i keep finding then this is what you would benefit to get it somewhat game ready if you havent got a lot of money, could drop to a 1050ti to save a few quid and probably generate less bottleneck.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £271.08 (includes shipping: £11.10)

out of curiosity, what is your laptop your using to game? if its a decent one and doing what you want then maybe just sell this pc system and buy a Nuc or Intel Compute stick for streaming the movies.
