Upgrade for laptop SSD

Hi all,

My son has an Acer laptop with a 128GB SSD drive which he has filled up. Can anyone recommend a good size upgrade (preferably to 512GB)?

I have looked, but am confused by the different types. His says it's an M2? Does this need to be replaced with another M2 type?

Hi, sorry for the late reply and thanks for the advice so far. His laptop model is an Acer Aspire 3 A315-51-3588.
