need to upgrade my comp , for games got a very limited budget dont sell me anything dx10 i dont want it to expensive , just going for performance.

Probably allowed to spend around 3-400.
 
And I don't think you can buy DX9 cards now :p

Course you can. ;) Anything before the 8X00 series from Nvidia or 2X00 series from ATI is DX9. :)

whats your cpu? to be honest, i'd say your fine, really, and look at getting another gig of ram, and adding a shedload more hard drive space.
