upgrade from 2x5850 CF to ??

Hi all,
Ive got twin HIS 5805's at the moment in crossfire.
I want to move to a single card solution again, but i dont want to lose performance.
Would a single Radeon 7950 be as goo as my twin 5850's?

any help appreciated.

Title is a bit misleading, thought you had 2x nvidia 580s.

Depends on resolution mainly.
The 7950 performs almost as 5850CF in some tests and exceeds it in others.

If you can sell the 5850s for decent price, I can see 7950 being worth it.

Less heat, less noise, none of the Crossfire issues and of course, decent performance.
