upgrade from 7600GT

I want to get a better card for around the same price as I paid for this one is it time to upgrade yet?

I paid 79.95 +VAT for the BFG 7600GT back in Augst 2006 surely 6 months later there is something better for that price?

But it doesn't look like it!

I noticed it's actually dearer now than it was 6 months ago.

I'm glad I didn't "wait for better" which seems to be the matra around here.

If I had waited I would have had to pay 3.05 more

To answer your question, no, there isn't.

If/when a 8600 card surfaces it might be a decent upgrade and not too far off the price but this is just total speculation
