Upgrade from 7800GT 256MB

Hiya, I've a Simple question for anyone who can advise please.

Upgrading from the card in title (7800GT 256MB) should I go for a 5850 or something like the Sapphire 4890 Vapor-X 1024MB or 2Gb version?

Am I right in thinking I'd be better off waiting until the 5850's are in stock?

C2D E6600, 4x 1Gb PC6400, Gigabyte DS3

Planning on getting 2x2Gb PC8500 and overclocking the CPU to 3GHz+ (hopefully!)

hm, I tend to do periodic upgrades tho, so I could get a 5850/70 now and in 6-12 months upgrade the CPU/mobo/RAM set, rather than a 4890 and need to upgrade all parts in a year.. decisions decisions..!
