Upgrade from a 1080 ?

Watch you don't pay near £600 for it, you can get faster 2080's for that.

Yeah, I'm getting a new Gigabyte Windforce OC 3X for £465. It's the cheapest non-reference triple fan card. I thought about getting a high-end 2070 super but then I'm almost at low end 2080 super territory which I'm not sure if it is worth getting into for 1440p anyway.

used 1080ti with a triple fan. would only go for a 2070S founders, 2070S custom boards are overkill but if money no object stick to the ftw3 OC or the strix OC as at least you know the card has the best components.
