To see a decent increase in performance what should I be looking at for less than £150? My options seem to be a 4870, 5770, or a 260 but I'm guessing direct x 11 features aren't really that useful at this price point. Current spec's in my sig and I use a 24" 1920x1080 monitor.

Prices seems to be coming down now on 4870/4890's in my opinion ATI is the way to go until Fermi comes out.

I just picked up a 4890 1GB from an auction for £95 (brand new with receipt and warranty). 4870's seemed to be going for anything between £60-£100 second hand and most 4890's for between £100-£150.

This is/was an absolute steal - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18105437 - GAINWARD 4870 1024MB GOLDEN SAMPLE £86.99 inc VAT

I'm also upgrading from an 8800 (BFG GTX OC).

All best.
