Upgrade: From AMD to intel - CPU/MoBO/RAM

Hi All

Im Considering the idea of upgrading from AMD to intel

Current Spec
Asus Crosshair V Formula Z
AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz
16GB Patriot Viper Extreme (1866MHz)

Also any ideas on how much i could sell this as a set 2nd hand?

I like the build quality of the ROG ASUS motherboards, also need a board that will eventually support 2 x Sapphier R9 290 Tri x and a ROG RAIDR Express SSD

Max budget will be £750. It will take me a couple of months to get the upgrade funds.
 
It will be mainly used for gaming, also some video editing.

Im going with 16GB as a buffer. Also gives me a few GB for programs to run on RAM Disk :)

Expensive SSD to be accommodating for when this budget will take many months anyway, have you already got this SSD? Surely a standard SSD would make more sense?

Or am I trying to budget for you aha.
 
i will be getting a liquid cpu cooler before buying the new upgrades so doesnt need in budget.

and i already have the SSD.. not cheap but well worth it in my own opinion :)
