Upgrade from amd to intel

Hey, i was looking into upgrading from amd to intel i5 2500k or 2600k or so. Right now i use sli 570s was wonder if the i5 is good for the job.

cpu: amd 1100t at 3.9
16gb memory at 1600mhz
Power supply is corsair hx1050
SLi 570s

2500k is good for the job if your job is gaming.

That's a very good price on a 2500k. You'll also need a cooler for that as well though since the OEM version doesn't come with the standard cooler. It also only has a one year warranty as opposed to the three year warranty offered with the retail version. Just something to keep in mind if that is important to you.

How may peeps actually have claimed using the warranty, I've abused a few Intel cpu's in my time, never killed one yet.
