Hi all

So, it's upgrade time. I'm currently running a Nexus 5 and it's just a bit slow in web browsers and the like every so often, the camera (was) crashing every time I used it and it was generally getting on my nerves.

I currently pay £15 a month and would go up to £20. My question is, what phones are available (on EE) that have similar/upgraded spec to the S5? I've tried going through the upgrade options on the site and there doesn't appear to be anything in that price point annoyingly.

Thoughts? I could go down the SIM only route and see if I can stick a custom ROM on the phone for a bit, but I'd like to see what else is available. Currently I use the phone for data (I only have 500MB atm) and photos as and when needed.

thanks all!

EDIT: I don't really want to be paying for the handset.

I have wondered about that, stupidly they don't offer that on the upgrade.

Anything else is like £30 odd. I'd also like to keep the same number

Do a full system wipe. That should solve your crashing issues for the short term.

Wait until the new Nexus devices launch in Oct.

Google I/O is this month. That should give us an idea hopefully of what to expect.

The 5x is a nice device but we are only 5 ish months off it's replacement.

My Nexus 5 is fine for the moment. I'm waiting for the replacement to come this year.

I have done that already and it still has the odd issues.

The lack of space on the device also gets to.me
