Hi all,
I did do a search prior to this post but I want to be more specific with my question / specs to help aid an informed decision.
I am currently looking to upgrade my GPU which is a GTX 770.
My brief pc spec is: SSD, i5 3570K @4.8ghz, 8gb DDR3
Two Monitors: both 1080p, both BENQ's but the main one being a 144hz XL2411T.
My aim is to be able to buy a decent monitor e.g. Predator X34 or PG279Q ROG - At some point near the end of the year adopt a VR headset as well.
Is 4k gaming going to be a big thing this year or is 1440p sufficient? (I'm not keyed up on this), and is it a big difference.
Also with the little information around about PASCAL, is it worth the wait? I am tempted by upgrading to a 980ti, but of course don't want to find I've wasted my money as you can imagine.
Will it be such a leap with pascal that the 980ti will fall down the benchmarks hard :/.
