Only thing is, the OP has a GTX 570 and that's slower than even a 1050, so while it'll be bottlenecked, I think most games will still show big gains.

Agreed...played quake champions tonight using the GTX 570 all graphics on low well playable and to me the graphics weren't too bad...so hoping i can wack stuff up with my new

Zotac GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge LHR 12GB GDDR6 :)

True and it doesn't really make any difference now they've bought a 3060 12gb but it was more a case of them not wasting money on a level of gpu they couldn't make full use of seeing as they're not intending to reuse the card later.
