upgrade help for bf4

Hi
please can someone help me with some upgrade advise

I'm upgrading my graphics card for battlefield 4 and i was thinking do I really need a new Cpu Ram mobo for this new game...
Could I just get a new Graphics card? spending extra on a 7970 R9 280x with my pc now
My Pc
Intel i3 530 2.9ghz, Can overclock 3.4ghz
Asus P7H55-M mobo,
4GB G.Skill 12800 CL7
Nvidia Msi 460gtx
win7 64
22" monitor
I know 4gb is not really good but can i get extra 4gb and be ok?

The pc I was thinking of buying.... but would cost a lot more money but would it be much faster at bf4?
Intel 4670k 3.4ghz
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
Ati HIS HD 7950 IceQ BOOST
8 GB Ram

Would this be much faster than my pc with the 7970 or the new Ati R 280x

I haven't really got a budget just trying to save money :) if its worth getting new cpu mobo ram i will . Yeah mostly be playing bf4 and try some new games
I could spend £500 to 550 max cheaper the better :)

Ps.. I will be overclocking and i would like a silent computer ...well quiet as much pos

I just saw a 8350 change to a 8320 right before my eyes. :).

It would be better if the colours matched. :)

The matrix is a great choice but today only.

So going with amd instead of intel for bf4 doesnt matter !
 
I'd also stick in a decent cooler (something around £30) so you can overclock the CPU to 4.5GHz or more.

You haven't mentioned your PSU, but as long as it's a decent 500W+ it will be ok.

If Mantle requires a full AMD system, it won't kick off.

And if Mantle does work with Intel, then the CPU is kinda moot anyway, I can't see there being any difference between an AMD or an Intel in the performance, except the AMD being cheaper.

If Mantle doesn't work with Intel? Then BF4 will almost certainly be better with a full AMD system.
 
Its a newish seasonic but cant remember the wattage 470w maybe I'l have to take it out and look.
Will there be enough room for my asus Xonar essence STX Sound Card in that mobo with the graphics card? can i install it in the other spare gfx slot?

You can plug the sound card into any PCI-E slot.
