ive looking to upgrade my motherboard and ram,at the mo ive runing

with ddr2 ram and board.
ive want to keep my processor but ive finding it hard to find the right board and ram.
been looking at this board
Asus P5E3 Pro Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
but what the best ram to go with it.
all the 12800 memory are saying best to used Core i5 and Core i7 processor and some else was saying best to for OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel. any help would be great
