Upgrade Help.

Hello I’m looking for some help with upgrading my pc.

current spec:

case: Coolermaster Mystique 631
psu: Akasa AK-P100FG
motherboard: Abit IN9 32X-MAX
cpu: Intel Core QX6700
graphics card: GeForce 8800 GTX
ram: 2x1gb OCZ PC2-7200 DDR2 Special Ops Edition

i have about £200-300 to spend.

I have stopped using my pc as of late because the constant noise (it drives me insane)

(I’m using stock cooling on my processor but I do have a Tuniq Tower 120 LED)

So I’m looking for a quiet system that will still allow me to play games, Photoshop etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fitting the Tuniq will certainly help.

Is it fan noise thats causing the problem?, cpu fan? graphics card fan? case fans?

I would need to find a new backplate as the old one was thrown away with my old motherboard.

The noise comes from a combination of things psu, cpu cooler and the graphics card. I cant pinpoint which makes the most noise but separately they all make some racket.
My two case fans are Noctua NF-P12 (with the Low-Noise-Adaptor)

what kind of temperatures are you getting at idle and at load?are fans/heatsinks clogged up with dust?
