upgrade help

Hi im looking to spend around £350-400 to upgrade my pc my current specs are

i3 530
h55m-ud2h mobo
4gb xms3 (2x2gb)
kingston v+200 120gb ssd
500gb hdd (x2)
corsair tx650v2
gtx 460
xonar dg sound card
cooler master elite 335
dvd-rw drive

I was thinking to upgrade the mobo cpu ram and case and then in a month or so get a new gpu . would that be the best way to go about it ? if so could someone please spec me some parts it will only be used for gaming
 
Hi thanks for the reply looks good. My windows 7 is a oem copy will I be able to activate it with the new mobo and cpu ?

You may have to get in touch with Microsoft when you try to activate it. Just tell them you had to get a new mobo. Usually works.
 
When you have installed the mobo and your Gpu wont display, you may need to do a bios update. So just connect your monitor to the mobo to flash your bios. There is a guide in the manual that shows you how to. You can use QFlash in the Bios or @bios in windows.

Ok thanks for all your help ive already ordered and selected next day parcel so I will just have to wait untill monday now.
 
Hi my parts arrived today I got it all up and running without any problems. my gpu worked without me updating the bios so i guess there is no need to ?
