Upgrade itch

So, I've got the machine listed in my Sig which is coming up to 4 years old. Is it worth me upgrading to the new incarnation of the i5 or stick to what I've got for a little longer?

My machine doesn't strugle with anything, I mainly play BF4 and WOW. There is a side note, after each of my upgrades, the Mrs receives the hand me downs. She currently has my old Q6600 clocked 3.2ghz with a 7970.

Thoughts please guys.

If you really want something, grab a 2600k/2700k.

as others have said that PC is fine for gaming and if you did update it you may not get much from the upgrade.

I have the same urge. I feel like I've had this system forever, but the 2500k is pretty great still. It's just not worth the cost to upgrade.

What resolution do you game at and what monitor do you use?

That will be changing soon.

Currently 1080, but will move to 1440 gsync soon.
