Hello Guys,

2009 is almost over and that means that i should upgrade my pc :):].

At this moment I have:
• Intel Core 2 E8500
• Asus Maximus Formula ( X38 )
• 4 GB Crucial PC8500 DDR2
• 9800GX2
[These parts will be sold for a nice price to a friend]

The main reason for upgrading my not so old pc, is that im about to visit a couple of LAN parties the next few months. I want my system to be up to date and a little bit to show of of course :]

I can spend around 900 pounds for the following parts:
[It may be a bit more]
• Processor
• Motherboard
• Graphics Card
• Memory (prefer 6 or 8GB)
• Processor Cooler
• Case (prefer black inside)
• HDD setup (Got lots of Anime and Movies on my pc so i would like to have 1 Bootdisk and maybe 2 data disks)

I will use my M700 Coolermaster Power Supply again together with my DVD Drive and case fans.

I love OC-ing, but i still want to keep it cool and quiet. It has to be compact aswell.
I would like to know what u guys would have bought with this budget.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Games that will be played on the LANs are Counterstrike 1.6 and Source. Call of Duty MW 1 and 2. I also love to play games such as Dirt 2 or GTA IV (the more demanding games)

I've left the case choice to yourself, you got plenty of budget to play with for it though, only gone for 4 gig of RAM as thats still plenty imo, black drive to boot, green for storage
Its a mATX mobo which allows you to get a nice small case
