Upgrade my CPU?

The PSU is adequate unless:
  • You want to overclock.
  • You install an i9 or Threadripper CPU.
  • You want to use a Vega, Radeon VII, GTX 2080, or other high-end graphics card.
It wasn't the best choice. But it doesn't really need to be replaced if all you're doing is swapping out the i3 8100 for an i5 8400 or i7 8700. You aren't going to derive any benefit from spending £50-£80 on a replacement.
