is that a big jump up? what video card would be good match for under £100 or would my 5850 be a good fit? gives me a reason to get a new card lol

I would look at the spec below with the Gigabyte board:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Pentium G860 3.00GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £59.99
1 x Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £45.95
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED34096M1600HC11DC) £28.79
Total : £145.22 (includes shipping : £8.75).

or higher end:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i3-3220 3.30GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £92.99
1 x Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £45.95
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED34096M1600HC11DC) £28.79
Total : £179.12 (includes shipping : £9.50).

But the 5850 would be a good fit, I did run 2 in crossfire.

Hopefully the motherboard will come with the latest BIOS.

I'd rather have an old Core 2 Quad to that Pentium to be honest. Really wouldn't go with that setup at all. :p

*edit* was referring to the G640

450W coolermaster PSU and an HD5850........ Wouldn't that be asking a bit much of the PSU?

Nope, I pulled that running two of them with a i7 920 overclocked to 4ghz.

Running Furmark and Prime together.

Edit: 530w from the mains :)

As you can add a 5850 I'd go for this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD Piledriver FX-6 Six Core 6300 Black Edition 3.50GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail £83.99
1 x Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (PV38G186C9K) £59.99
1 x Gigabyte 970A-DS3 AMD 970A (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard £55.99
Total : £199.97 (includes shipping : FREE).

With free P&P it's within the max budget and should be a nice rig, more than suitable for your needs with the addition of the 5850.
