That spec PC doesnt need 750W unless you plan on using 2 cards. if is a no-name cheapo PSU then you are doing yourself no favours.

if that doesnt cure it check the CPU & GPU Temps. Run memtest to see if its the RAM.

Actually it wasn't that PSU went for the 750W fully modular one.

You should do. I'd keep the EVO 850 for Windows and a few apps, the WD green for your files & games.

What size is it? For the majority of games I would certainly say so, but depends on space ofc

What steam games were you thinking of putting on there? If it's smaller stuff like CS:GO then it's not really worth it, they load in a few seconds of HDD anyway

hmm atm Dying Light and 7 days to die also have Dragon Age Inquisition + Diablo 3 i'm playing at the moment.. Oh and Farcry 4

Just so you know the problem appears to have been caused by the memory :-/ Swapped everything out and left the old memory installed and had similar issues even after another re install onto the SSD so removed the old RAM and the problems disappeared. Thanks for your help guys.
