Upgrade or new build?

So I take it its kind of like a jigsaw or mechano set? then when its built just power it up and then what? Just insert the windows disc?
 
Not bought as yet, just waiting for you experts to recommend an upgraded fan for future xfire, and if i need to order windows or can use my windows disc on the new pc :)
 
Ok just found out you can download things if you plug in the network cable we have here, so could some provide the basket app link if possible as i cant find it on the site :p

Also any last recommendations for stronger PSU and to confirm whether i need a new windows program or not? :)

New CPU, RAM, GPU and SSD.

The board may look high spec and the RAM may look missing. But the RAM (which is great stuff) comes free with that motherboard. Its only £5 more than a low spec motherboard + the same RAM, so why not.

The GPU comes with a free games voucher.

The SSD is a great choice for that money. This will obviously replace your HDD as the boot drive and the HDD will become just a storage drive. This will mean re-installing all programs again, which is good for performance. :)

It is also a fraction of your budget, so may I suggest looking at a new case/PSU/cooler too.

Just ordering :) had a couple of thoughts/questions about the tower.

Is the clear panel able to swap sides? I only ask as my desk only has left sided space for a tower so the clear portion will be hidden :( Also where can I get some lights to illuminate the inside (is this easy and reasonable to do?) If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it properly :p

Also swapped to the 750W PSU as you suggested

Oh and the processor is out of stock, ETA 23/6/14 :(

Regarding Windows, will my current windows 7 transfer across ok or am i going to have to buy a new licence/disc?

I'll try the windows code and see how it works :)

It was ok-ish the pc but was getting slower and slower and throwing up various slow speed warnings and asking me to reduce resolution due to poor performance etc.

I thought about buying new HDD and a disc drive and then ust flogging the old one but not sure id get much interest where i live :)
