Upgrade or new system

Hi

I'm looking to upgrade my system, primarily to play Skyrim on high or ultra settings. I can't afford to change the whole system and I was thinking of a mobo/graphics card change. I currently have a Q6600 at stock on a Biostar mobo and a 4850 512MB graphics card. The mobo is only reading 2GB of the 4GB RAM i have (and I've checked its working in a different system so its not the RAM). I've been meaning to have a go at overclocking the CPU, so I'm looking for a mobo, a decent cooler and a graphics card in the region of a 5850/6870/560. I'm okay shopping around for the graphics card, but a bit lost on the mobo and the cooler. Can anybody help me out with any suggestions?

Assuming about £150 for the graphics, is less than £250 realistic?

In total. Is secondhand the best way to go for motherboard and memory?

For this stuff yeah, don't wanna be investing too much in old tech. You should have access to the Members Market to pick up some good stuff.
