Upgrade or Replace help

Sorry first time doing this. Would something like this work i think its slightly different to what Gray suggested though.

Also ill need a GFX card to upgrade mine so thought maybe the RTX 3070 when there released.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £760.63 (includes shipping: £11.70)

Yes it would work

Corsair rm 850w £10 more 10 year warranty fully modular, tx 7 year warranty semi modular.

Micky would you make any further changes or add ons with a budget of £1000 which I could raise to £1500 if required? Or would you just stick with this?

Also will any size case work or do I specifically need a micro?

Matx and ATX cases will work but you always have to check size limitations for , coolers , gpu, etc

Further upgrade as I said in a previous post 32gb ram and 3700x.

Then drop in a 3070 boom.

Thanks again micky I apologise for the noob questions. Is there a diffrenece between the 3700x CPU such as the X/XT ect?

Also so questions for the 3070 GFX cards there seems to be quite a few options.

And lastly the cooler I picked is only £25 should I look at a better version or watercooling?

That motherboard WILL NOT FIT in that case, you either need to get a bigger case or Matx motherboard .

RAIJINTEK SILENOS PRO ARGB is a n8ce case

Xt clockeded slightly higher than the x but not worth the cost.

3070 is not released yet you could be waiting a bit so use your old one .

Cooler is perfectly fine the duo version looks nice, you can always spend more.

See these are the things I dont know about so I need to remove the XT and just use the X also I liked the look of this case but again not sure eif it would fit.

And are these not the correct 3070 GFX Cards?

The case you like everything will fit.

Which you are you going for 3600 ( 6 core) or 3700 ( 8 core )?

They are the 3070 and will fit but you can't buy them ye.

Why don't you do a final basket with all the info you have gained.

I followed your advice and this is the new basket. Is there a difference between the b550s as ive just added in any byt there seems to be like 10 different ones.

Also which RTX 3070 would you recommend once there released as there seems to be a few different versions.

I had a look at coolers but couldn't find any that weren't £150 plus really.

There are a few differences between motherboards such as wifi and more vrm which delivers power to the cpu.

The motherboard you picked is fine.

The cpu cooler is a good cooler for the money and Wii work well with the 3700x.

There are no reviews for the rtx 3070 so I can't recommend one just yet.

The case is pre order so may take some time to be delivered.

@Sparx or @Plec mite be able to give you some pointers.

Not sure on that case, only has 34cm clearance for GPU with stock fans. I think if you ever wanted an AIO or had push/pull fans likely wouldn't fit or be very close... Not 100% though. Maybe look at the Phanteks P500A or BeQuiet 500DX? Up to you ultimately.

Build looks decent otherwise tbh. If you need WiFi then that mobo is fine.

3070 wise, as micky said no reviews yet so no idea what's a good/bad AIB 3070 in terms of their coolers/thermals/noise etc. But from just a brand/warranty perspective, out of OcUK's current selection I'd go for either the Zotac or EVGA card.
