With its very weak cores Bulldozer is good only at converting electricity to heat.
Ryzen is definitely far better than it.
(52% higher IPC compared to last variant of "Faildozer" architecture)

From Intel side only parts for long time upgrade I would be looking at is six core Coffee Lakes.

In GPUs I would anyway wait for AMD to release Vega to see how it does and what effect it has to pricing.
And graphics card is always easy to change separately.

So you agree to use a Ryzen CPU ?

Im a bit disappointed, no one else has replied, was I asking too much ?

Would agree with the above Ryzen is the way to go probablly the 1600 is the best bet with 3200mhz ram, something like this.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £471.47
(includes shipping: £10.50)

This and wait until Vega releases to see the impact on pricing, then look into GPU's, should start arriving around end of July I believe.

What is the real difference between the B350 and the X370 ?

Some people have said go for X370 and other have said save the money and get a B350

I went for 1700 instead of 1600. When I upgraded from my 8320 two weeks ago. Glad I did for the extra cores over the 1600.

ryzen over fx should be like night and day and 1600 is good, but 1700 is better, more so if your in for the long haul! No need to upgrade for a long time if your that way inclined
