Basically I got a bit of cash to upgrade another one of my computers and was thinking of getting an SSD and windows 7 or I could get a new quad core CPU, a 2TB HDD, windows 7 and maybe new GFX card with any left over cash.

What path should I take?
Many Thanks

Current spec:
Windows XP
intel core 2 duo E6300 (overclocked at 3.3Ghz)
GTX 260
120GB generic HDD (with 28mb/read and write, this is why i need new HDD/SSD lol)
4gb ocz reapers (800mhz)
ozc stealthxstream 600watt

Personally I would definitely upgrade the HDD, but I suppose it also depends on what
you use the system for as well?

2GB hdd lol :p
how much cash are you willing to spend and what resolution are you currently using.

lol sorry mate ment 2TB and its running 1400 x 900 (might be getting it a 1920 x 1080 in the near future)

So just getting the 2TB? and I use the system for gaming, WoW, dead space 2, fallout etc.

I'd be looking to upgrade in this order/priority:

HDD
Windows
CPU
GPU
SSD

Not worth it as much to get an SSD on XP.

ok thanks but What about a SSD on windows 7?

Personal I would get a ssd as it gives the biggest boost in performance then get a cpu/mobo/ram and then think about windows(many ways). That would give u a good future proof system as it is best to wait for the new gpu's and upgrade the rest first.
