Well I'm due to upgrade next month; I currently have a K800 and i'm paying £35 a month with O2. I'm pretty much set on getting a K850, but wanted to check if there's anything else worth looking at.

I think the G600 is a similar spec, but I hated the old Samsung OS - is this improved at all?

What are the Nokia smartphones like these days? My missus used to have an N70 but that was god awful slow, terrible battery life, rubbish screen and camera. Basically I want to know if they're better now, as one thing that does appeal to me is Wi-Fi.

Any others that I should have a look at?

Thanks, Dan.

the k850 is less bulky than the k800. The camera is better than my k800i, not a lot better i'll grant you but it was a brilliant camera to start with.

Very happy with mine.

i went from a K800 to K810 to K850, and in my 2 year experience of using of the K800 and K810, compared to my week with the K850, i 100% prefer the K850, i find it very nice, lessy bulky than both the k800/10, mainly because the whole phone is nice and flat instead of a bulge on its back.....

Now, there are some problems with the UI being slow to respond, BUT, SE are working on a Firmware to fix this and is in Beta Testing...
The Camera Flash sometimes doesnt flash at the right time, leading to dark pictures, BUT again they are working on a firmware to fix this issue, and is currently in Beta testing also....We should see these in a few weeks time

But for now the phone is great, The UI will improve, and the Camera Will also improve greatly in the next firmware.

Yes i agree that SE should have tested this more at the start, but what can we do about that, they accept the fault, and ARE working on fixes, just gotta wait a few more weeks...

If i remember correctly there was problems with both the k800/10 in the first couple of months.

Meh rant over.

Pretty much the same as knightstalker...there are a few bugs but overall i'm very pleased coming from my k800i. It was on par with going from k750i to the k800i.

I don't like the new media manager, it works well for music but for videos and pictures it's really slow to get the files up you want, esp with a 4gig card full of stuff
