I just replaced my motherboard, an Asus P5P800-SE Intel 865PE (Socket LGA775) Motherboard, with this one and I replaced my Celeron D CPU with this CPU.
When I plugged evrything back in and tyurned the machine on, the BIOS loaded fine but when it got to loading Windows, I got the message saying it had not started properly and it offered me 5 different start up options. I tried normally, last known good configuaration and safe mode and none of them worked. I have also taken the C2D CPU out and put my old one in and that did not work either.
Can anyone suggest what may be the problem or what I might have done wrong to cause this?
