am thinking of using an hp envy phoenix 800-160 case to house an asus x570, should i continue or just buy a case, i ended up removing the psu and the motherboard from the case. I think an atx motherboard could fit in it and an atx psu, thinking of getting a semi modular one and using my rx6600xt

Ok from my googling the case supports a uatx motherboard which is the same as a matx motherboard.

If the x570 fits am good until i buy a good case, it's just a placeholder until i have money for a good case

If you're not sure if MATX/ATX, then you can count the screw holes. ATX is usually 9, but if you give us a specific model name we can tell you what your board is.

Micro-ATX X570 motherboards are not/were not common.

As long as it's micro ATX, alternatively a b550 matx motherboard will do.

Do you already have the motherboard if yes what make and model is it ?
