quite like the idea of SLI, never thought of that combo, does the 5850 have to be the same brand?

No, just another HD5850. If any cards come overclocked then both will run at the slower speed.

Thanks, Ill see if I can pick up a second hand one, gutted after all this info that I think my case is too small for the A50 cooler, Ill strip it down this weekend to get the exact measurements but I dont think i have 150mm clearance
