Upgrade Spec Please

Thanks for that.

I think the Thermalright True Spirit 140 might just fit - there seems to be a few signatures around where people have both, but would obviously be very tight.

I presume the Cooler Master is reasonable? So should be fine. Thanks.

Anyone have any thoughts on the best memory for £25 - £35?

Thanks

I think the only thing missing is now a cooler. So, recommendations please!

My aim is to apply a reasonable mid clock to the CPU - so nothing extreme, just something easily attainable and stable.

Possible options seem to include:

Thermalright HR-02 Macho CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA1366) - On this weeks offers @ £29.18

or

Cooler Master Hyper 412S - standard price £28.99

or something else? Needs to fit (presume these both will?)! Happy to pay a few quid more or less if needs be.

Recommendations appreciated.

The macho cooler is very good, seen a few reviews the other day.

Thanks. Will go for that then. Looks like it should fit - I hope!

Also, you could get a 1TB hdd.

I'm actually re-using the HDD I currently have, with the addition of the SSD - should be OK for a bit. The 750GB one is the closest I could get to the one I have for the purposes of 'building' the full machine in the basket. Ditto the PSU and case.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Graphics card and memory arrived this morning - bought from last weeks offers.

About to order the MB and CPU (both on offer this week!) and a cooler.

Do I need anything else? Are the stock fans in my case sufficient?

Can anyone recommend a front panel USB 3.0 / card reader?

OK. SO I've now bought all the bits I needed for roughly the spec below.

Is there any point adding a small mSATA drive to this, given that there's already a 256GB SSD?

If so, for pure caching or to stick the OS on?

If not, would you just load all the OS and main programs on the SSD and use the SADA HDD for mainly data storage?

Sorry if these are basic / obvious questions.

Thanks
