I built a system three years from OC using:
Epox EP-5EGA+Intel 915 VGA (MB-041-EP)
Intel P4, 540J Prescott 3.2GHz (800FSB) (CP-058-IN)
OCUK Value 1GB (2 x 512MB) PC3200 184pin DDR Memory Dual Channel kit (MY-004-OK)
It works well for my applications - Photoshop, internet, some video, general office. No gaming or multimedia stuff.
It's a little slow and could probably be improved in some areas.
What do you recommend for staged upgrades?
Initially I thought memory first, then processor at a later stage. The MB manual says it will support Pentium 4 5xx up to 4.0GHz with 533/800 MHZ FSB and four 184 pin DDR -333/400 DIMMS dual channel up to 4GB.
