Looking to upgrade soon from my GTX 670 which is doing alright but It's starting to age a bit now and I'm thinking after 3 years its time for a possible upgrade.
I do a bit of gaming now and again at 1080p, in a year or so id like to upgrade to 4k when its a bit cheaper. Most of my time is spent on CAD/Rendering/3D Model software at the moment though.
Budget around £250-350.
I was thinking more Nvidia due to the fact it seems more optimized for 3D model/rendering software from my experience. But open to both AMD and Nvidia.
Is it worth upgrading to the GTX 970 or 390/390X, or should i just wait until the FURY (Air cooled) comes along? Preferably id like a GTX 980 but the price is the limiting factor.
I intend to keep the card for 2-3 years, so it needs to provide some future proof value.
