Don't worry too much about thermal paste, how you apply them makes little difference as long as the heat spreader is adequately covered.
Personally I do the "spread" method

Now to do some gaming, I'm sure you'll notice the difference even without the FPS counter, and that's the best marker of performance improvement.

I'd start with -10 first, just to be sure no issues with stability
(Or just leave it alone if your temps are fine lol)

Haha lucky you, I bought one for a friend and one core couldn't do more than -15
No matters anyway it was sitting under a 240mm AIO so I just left it at -10 all cores so I don't get any moaning about randomly crashing

Haha yes AliExpress. But works as advertised, just less undervolting headroom. And at a cost of 62.5% of a normal chip (£124.85), he ain't complaining
