I built this gaming PC after getting advice (and the components) from here, it's not currently being used but I'm thinking of upgrading it to run the HTC Vive?

Is it worth doing do you think? A GTX 1070 and a new CPU and it would meet minimum spec?

Not sure what options would be realistic with the CPU actually. Hope you guys can give me some pointers.

The CPU should be fine just overclock it, I'd also get another 8GB of RAM and maybe consider upgrading the PSU, it'll run a GTX 1070 and you're rig but I wouldn't want it going wrong. It's not worth upgrading to Skylake atm with Kabylake so near as the Ivy still manages.
