Upgrade time..help needed...!!!

Evening peeps,

I'm due to order my upgrade this time next week and can't decide what to get.

Im coming from a nokia 5800 but cant decide what to get.

I have been saying for the last couple of months i'm not having a full touchscreen phone
again, but cant decide now the time is near.

Bold 9700
Storm 2
HD2

What would people recommend?

If i had a full touch screen phone i would like to be able to text using a numeric keypad, will the storm and HD2 allow this?

Id definitely recommend the 9700, its not touch screen but imo is far better than the Storm2....which i also have and use and as much as i love it...i use the 9700 far more often.
The Storm2 is a touch screen but in order to make a selection you touch the screen then press down ie click down...its a bit strange at first and some people cant get used to it...ive had mine since day one on vodafone and i find it difficult to text on unless i really need to...it has different methods of keyboard...one is the full qwerty type keyboard like the iphone and then theres the suretype keyboard and also typing with numeric keypad.

The HD2 is another nice device but is postively huge compared to the iphone, 9700 and Storm2...my dad has one and its got a huge lovely screen...it runs on Winmo which is the only weakest part of the phone in all honestly...saying that i did use his hd2 quite a bit and liked it other than its a big phone so isnt easily pocketable i found...plus it runs on Winmo which imo is not a very good OS.

BB's are getting more and more popular due to the fact that they are easy to get to grips with it ie typing...i get all my emails on mine so i no longer have to be near a pc to answer emails....especially on the 9700...quite a few people have it and are pretty pleased with theirs...i have to out of all the BB devices ive used the 9700 is definitely the best one out there.

great post thanks. This was my number one choice due to the non touchscreen.

Think i shall get that then.

Can anyone advise if the 9700 works with a ck3200 as my pap 5800 has always dropped out on bt.
