Depends how high you wanna go really. New receiver, matching centre and rears and maybe an SVS Cylinder sub are about the only things I would remotely consider, and only if i had a lot of disposable dollar which had nothing else to go on. Its a great setup as is.

EDIT: Projector :p.

Blatantly a projector. Check out the JVC HD750 - it'll give you a superb image and make your plasma look tiny. You'll need to do something about the walls though ;)

A projector would be nice but i don't want to be getting the builders in and messing about with the walls.

I was maybe thinking of upgrading the IQ5SE's to IQ9's?

I'd be looking at a beefier amp first, and a projector :p. You don't need builders to install a projector, whack up a shelf/get a wall mount and hang a screen, voila! Go and see one in action, and I guarantee you'll have to buy one within a month :p.

You could always get a gray screen and not have to treat the walls/ceiling. If budget allows, a Supernova screen coupled with a decent projector would do the trick. Everything else is just a sidegrade :)

My thoughts would be to look at the amp first. Speakers can often "step up" a grade when driven well, often surprisingly so.
Quick question for you to consider. What ratio of time do you spend watching BD to DVD/TV? Personally I've found my time using HD coded films to be fairly limited. If you're the same, you might wish to spend your dosh optimising your playback of DPL, DD and DTS over HD audio. In the legacy arena there's a LOT of very good kit going incredibly cheaply. For example you could get a flagship legacy Yam/Denon for around £300-400 that would probably sound at least as good as your Sony on BDs just because of how much better the power amp section is, and on DVD/TV would wipe the floor with your Sony. Got a bit more dosh and you could get some very nice processors, e.g. Lexicons and Meridian can be had for £300 upwards, though you'd also need power amps. For reasonably price power amps, should be possible to do the lot for say £600-700.
Just a thought.

I'd look at upgrading your audio before worrying about the screen, i don't know how big your room is but your current set is pretty decent anyway.

Keep the sub and upgrade everything else, maybe a pre/power combo if you're flush and get a matching centre channel this time :)

I agree with ^^^ there's some great stuff being offloaded whilst everybody jumps to the HD gear.

Cheers for the comments guys.

Heres what I am proposing:

New Amp + Power Amp < Suggestions as i dont know much in this area
