Hi, my O2 contract is due for renewal and I'm entitled to a shiny new phone, only thing is I have no idea which ones are any good :D

These are the options I have:
Samsung U600
Sony Ericsson W880i
Sony Ericsson W880i Silver
Sony Ericsson K810i
Samsung D900i
Nokia 6300
Nokia N73

Which would you recommend?

Which have you currently got? What are you looking for in the phone?

There's other questions aswell, but if your not going to make use of the phones features then it's not really worth it.

Samsung D500.
To be honest, I agree with what you're saying, I have no problems with my current phone and I'm tempted to just get the most expensive one I can and ebay it.

Well i didn't mean it as in keeping your current, i meant it as in out of all the phones what do you want from them? So we could maybe cut the numbers down and find one right for you.

But if your happy with the d500, then sell the new one and carry on using it :).

Maybe get whatever people are interested and costly, sell it and put a little extra in to a Nokia N95.

But why does everyone need to have or a N95? He didn't list it bar a N73.

get an N73 I've had one for a year now and it's brill, lot's of software around for it, it's got a good size screen and a good camera.

At the moment I've got a N95, N76 and the N73 sat on the shelf and to be honest out of the three of them the N73 is the best, the slider on the N95 is crap, the same as it was on the N80, the battery life on the N76 is pants. The N73 has good battery life reasonable music player, good camera, tomtom works on it, what more do you need :)
